Nokia – Required Qualifications & Skills :
- No experience is required. Basic educational knowledge. Degree or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, electronics, and communication,
- Telecommunication, or equivalent areas.
- Good understanding of at least one of the programming languages: C, C++, Python, Shell, etc.
- Basic understanding of OO design, Clean Code.
- Basic understanding on Linux kernel network architecture is preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities :
- Performs routine assignments within standardized procedures and practices with regular supervision to achieve objectives and meet deadlines (EG plans, designs, and executes items according to given specifications such as performing a standard process step when rolling out the toolchain for volume software production, completing design documentation, integrating a subsystem with guidance, etc).
- Receives instruction, guidance, and direction from others and uses own knowledge and existing procedures to solve standard problems (EG performing a subset of activities that are related to the different software development phases such as software requirement specification, feasibility, cost studies, etc).
- Analyses, designs, develops and tests products/ services/ improvements/ bug resolutions for integrated hardware/ software systems as per customers’ requirements.
- Resolves customer trouble tickets. Diagnoses complex problems/ issues (EG hardware, software, combination) and provides resolution or recommends corrective actions. Plans technical requirements based on customers’ needs.
- Develop SW / HW build-controlled production releases (EG main and update releases, service packages, maintenance updates, and customer design engineering).
- Defines product hardware/ software evolutions through the creation and release of hardware/ software documentation, hardware/ software change control management, and supplier and customer notifications.
- Retains technical and design knowledge for assigned products and technologies and provides training to the lower support teams (Tier 2 and Tier 3).
- Applies and maintains quality standards. Participates in process and tool evolutions and improvements.
- Applies the SW Care process (especially emergency case handling) contributing when needed to the fastest problem restoration.
